Saturday, January 29th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
The Millrise Community Association in partnership with Shawnee Evergreen Community Association and the City of Calgary will be hosting a Skate & S'mores event on Saturday, January 29th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Bring your skates and a roasting stick and join us at the Millrise Rink to meet your neighbours, enjoy some live music and indulge in the classic campfire treat. Refreshments and the key S'mores ingredients will be provided, but please bring a suitable chair to pull up around one of the two campfires. Lace up your skates if you'd like to take a stroll around the pleasure oval and bring a stick if you'd like to partake in a game of shinny.
The event is being made possible by the Shawnee Evergreen Community Association, and is open to all residents. A membership to your coinciding Community Association is much appreciated, and can be purchased online here:
