Welcome to the Millrise Community Garden!

****UPDATE****

Thank you for all the interest this year in the garden! We are pleased to announce that all of our beds have been rented for the 2025 season. But don't despair! There is always turnover each year and if you would like to join us next year, please us send an email. Even if you email right now, if plots become available your name will be first on the list and you will be able to choose next year if you'd like to purchase a plot. Gardeners from the previous year have until March 31st to renew their plots, or it will be passed on to the next eager gardener!

There are currently 12 rentable garden beds that we plant.  To rent a garden plot for a growing season is $30 and you must have an up to date Community Membership.

Returning gardeners from the previous season have the opportunity to renew their plot from the previous year, up to a maximum of 3 consecutive years. The renewal must be complete by March 31st, after which their plot will be available for another member to rent.

If you are interested in joining us for the upcoming growing season, please purchase a community membership by clicking here, or sign into your account. If it is before March 31st and you would like to be added to the waiting list, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. If it is after March 31st and their are garden plots still available, the rental can be completed by signing into your account and clicking on Community Garden in the menu.

For full terms and conditions of renting a plot, please see the Community Garden Terms of Use.

Newsflash

Do you love cold weather and clearing snow?  Better yet, have you always wanted to drive a Zamboni?

We're the Millrise ice crew and we maintain the ice through the winter. The good news is that we have machines to do the heavy work and the work is extremely rewarding when we see kids active and skating. We're always looking for new volunteers. In October each year we begin our fall tune-up and we generally begin making ice in late November; please plan on coming down early in the year and get acquainted with the work.
