Seasons Greetings!

 Brings your skates for a fun filled afternoon skating with Santa!

The skate will take place this coming weekend on December 19th, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We hope to see you all there!

 

We are looking for people to be a part of the Millrise Community Association Board of Directors.  We generally have meetings once per month. The meetings will start at 7:00 in the Art Room of OLP School. Come on down and help make a difference in your community!

2015 was a terrific growing season.  Each plot produced very well.  While we are still addressing some vandalism, both two legged and four legged, it was considerably lower this year.  Read about how you can be involved with the garden under "Community Garden" on the Main Menu.

Newsflash

Do you love cold weather and clearing snow?  Better yet, have you always wanted to drive a Zamboni? 

We're the Millrise ice crew and we maintain the ice through the winter. The good news is that we have machines to do the heavy work and the work is extremely rewarding when we see kids active and skating. We're always looking for new volunteers. In October each year we begin our fall tune-up and we generally begin making ice in late November; please plan on coming down early in the year and get acquainted with the work.
