We're hosting our first Coffee in the Park! Please come on down to the park at Millrise Way SW and Millrise Dr SW on Sunday Sept 22nd from 3-4:30pm. We'll be at the picnic table by the playground.

Bring your travel mug and we'll have free coffee available for Millrise Community Members (or bring $2 if you're not a member). We'll also have a draw for 4 free tickets to Telus Spark courtesy of our city councillor Diane Colley-Urquhart.

Come out to meet your neighbours and have a hot coffee. Bring your kids to play in the playground too.

We hope to see you there!

Newsflash

Do you love cold weather and clearing snow?  Better yet, have you always wanted to drive a Zamboni? 

We're the Millrise ice crew and we maintain the ice through the winter. The good news is that we have machines to do the heavy work and the work is extremely rewarding when we see kids active and skating. We're always looking for new volunteers. In October each year we begin our fall tune-up and we generally begin making ice in late November; please plan on coming down early in the year and get acquainted with the work.
