Sign up your little ones to take part in our Christmas Cookie Decorating Event!

The event will take place on:

Sunday, December 1st

3:00 to 4:00 PM

Registration is required so that we can make sure there are enough supplies. The cost of the event is free for members and $5/child for non-members.

 

The event will take place at Cardel Rec South, in the Flames Room.

The Flames room is at the south end of the building, on the 2nd floor. There is a staircase at the very south end of the building, or elevators and another staircase near the main Arena Entrance. The Flames Room is across from Arenas #3 and #4.

If you have any trouble finding the Flames Room, don't hesitate to ask any of the staff who will be happy to help you out.

Come on join us for Costumes in the Park and let your littles play in the playground in their Halloween costumes!

Sunday October 27th from 3 PM to 4:30 PM.

We'll be at the picnic table by the playground at the corner of Millrise Way SW and Millrise Dr SW.

Bring your travel mug and we'll have free coffee/hot chocolate and treats available for Millrise Community Members (or bring $2 if you're not a member).

We'll also have a draw for 2 free tickets to the Zoo.

We're hosting our first Coffee in the Park! Please come on down to the park at Millrise Way SW and Millrise Dr SW on Sunday Sept 22nd from 3-4:30pm. We'll be at the picnic table by the playground.

Newsflash

Do you love cold weather and clearing snow?  Better yet, have you always wanted to drive a Zamboni? 

We're the Millrise ice crew and we maintain the ice through the winter. The good news is that we have machines to do the heavy work and the work is extremely rewarding when we see kids active and skating. We're always looking for new volunteers. In October each year we begin our fall tune-up and we generally begin making ice in late November; please plan on coming down early in the year and get acquainted with the work.
