Millrise continues door to door membership drive within our community due to lack of volunteers and large number of homes to visit within our community. We would really appreciate if you could come out and help volunteer your time. Our target is to reach the minimum number of required members, we are almost there but need your help.

If you can come out and volunteer your time please contact Lorie Frei by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Thank you!

2nd Annual FAMILY FUN DAY – A Big Hit!

The Millrise Community Association (MCA) held a fun skate for its members and people in the surrounding areas on the February Family Day. There was hot food and drink and a fire pit to warm up at. The MCA again was able to dial in the weather as the sun shine and accompanying warm temperatures allowed a lot of people to get outside, meet other community members, and just have some fun. The ice skating surfaces in both the hockey rink and skating oval were excellent! Thank you to all the community volunteers that made this a very successful event. Take a look at some of the pictures from that day below and if you would like to become a member or help out in any way, please e-mail us at This email address is being protected from spambots. Newsflash

Do you love cold weather and clearing snow?  Better yet, have you always wanted to drive a Zamboni?

We're the Millrise ice crew and we maintain the ice through the winter. The good news is that we have machines to do the heavy work and the work is extremely rewarding when we see kids active and skating. We're always looking for new volunteers. In October each year we begin our fall tune-up and we generally begin making ice in late November; please plan on coming down early in the year and get acquainted with the work.
